The PSHS Student Concerto Competition was created during the 2003-2004 school year as a way to feature an outstanding member of the band program and provide this student with a unique opportunity to perform a solo with a large ensemble. Each year, students are encouraged to audition in late fall for the opportunity to perform a solo with the Wind Ensemble on one of the winter concerts.
